The second half of the year.

Today marks the beginning of the second half of the year and really i must say alot has transpired, 2021 has been more like a recuperating period for most of us and for some a continuation of the usual routine. There’s been ups and downs the increase in price in everything here in Nigeria and especially Portharcourt it’s been hell, living has become even more difficult, alot of persons out of jobs or looking for jobs , the difficulties and challenges that came with the inflation and all.

But really it’s a moment of gratitude looking back and seeing how far we’ve gone, how much we’ve grown, what we’ve achieved so far makes it all beautiful to think on. It’s the end of the first half of the year and the beginning of another.

For me personally it’s a time to reflect and ponder on my actions and inactions, on the height I’ve reached towards achieving my long-term goals and the things I’ve neglected. I think each and everyone should take out their written goals for the year and thoroughly examine them, if we do, we’ll know where we should brace up and how hard we should keep pushing. It’s an important exercise we should do.

Don’t feel bad or beat yourself because you’ve not achieved like half of your short term goals for the year there’s so much we can do in this short time.

The beginning of this second half of the year is more like a second chance, an opportunity to right your wrongs, dot your I’s and cross your T’s.

Time waits for no man as we all know, it keeps ticking, the hourglass is half way full, half way empty, how do you want to fill it?

I’ll make my second half of the year worthwhile, disciplined and consistent towards achieving my goals for the year, putting in extra effort is all it takes, leaving off excuses and just do! So help me God. 😁

So let’s do this together, cross into the second half of the year victoriously, prayerfully, energized, refueled and with the right mindset to weather the storms and achieve our goals. Like Henry Ford said

Obstacles are frightful things when you take your eyes of your goals.

I feel positive about this new phase i can’t explain maybe because it’s my birth month, Yeah that’s right! 😀😊

Let’s all have positive mindsets as we commence the Second half of the year, there’s already so much negativity. Let’s purge ourselves of them. It’s okay to not be where you want to be but it’s not okay if you stop trying yo reach the destination.
