Moving on to the new year, What’s your plan?
Welcome to the new year, we are a week into this year 2024 already, Normally I’m the planner, I like to plan ahead of the year and even before the start of the new year however this year 2024 I had an idea of what I want to achieve but wasn’t able to pen down, reflect and re-adjust my plans there was a lot of inconsistency in the year 2023 that I lost track of time.
I’m still a great believer in a new year, and new resolutions which are majorly about choosing to do something differently to achieve better results and it could entail making new goals in other to achieve the desired result
I’ve come to understand a lot comparing my 2023 and how I want to live my 2024, it’s in your hands to create the life you want no matter the challenges and excuses we tend to create even when it’s hard and undoable.
Listening to the likes of Warren Buffet, Robert Kiyosaki, and Myles Munroe re-iterates the point, Decide to stick by the rules and blueprints you have set and follow through with them, even if it means planning the year in bits and detail like Denis Waitley said:
Change the changeable, accept the unchangeable, and remove yourself from the unacceptable.
So 3 key things plan, start work, and make sure you are consistent. it may be much easier to say than to do because when it comes to carrying out even when you don’t feel like it you have to try. So I broke my goals down into months and I do not want to see it as a big picture like oh this is what I’ll achieve this year instead these are the things ill achieve this month in other to get results with the main goals in the background and i’ll suggest for everything you want to achieve read a book, a self help book in regards to whatever it is.
Surround yourself with people who are moving in your direction, a cliché that never gets old. Life is a race and a journey everyone is on their track but we also need encouragement and hope aside from the one we give ourselves. This is the year to take the bull by the horns.
I started the year finishing Smart Money Woman by Arese Ugwu it’s a good financial book for everyone to read, currently re-reading a book by Mark Manson. Let’s do this together.
